Privacy Policy

Summary (ELI5)

We only collect the minimum needed to run Fantasy Arbitrator. Your account info, disputes you submit, and any screenshots you upload are stored in our database (Supabase). We use this data to give neutral rulings and improve the product. You can ask us to delete your data any time.

What we collect

• Account data: email, name (if provided), auth identifiers.
• League & dispute data: league names, trade details, notes, roster submissions, verdicts.
• Uploads: optional screenshots you attach to disputes.
• Basic logs: errors and usage events to keep things running (no creepy tracking).

Why we collect it

• Provide neutral rulings and show history in your league.
• Prevent spam/abuse and fix bugs.
• Improve the product during the 2025 beta.

Where it’s stored

We use Supabase for our database, authentication, and storage. Screenshots go to a secured storage bucket with Row Level Security so only authorized users can access their files.

Email

We send transactional emails (e.g., dispute submitted, verdict posted). No marketing blasts during beta. You can contact us anytime at support@thefantasyarbitrator.com.

Who can see your data

• You: your account, leagues you’re in, and your disputes.
• League commissioner/admin: disputes in their league (not other leagues).
• Arbitrator (app admin): to review disputes and issue verdicts.

Access is limited by database Row Level Security (RLS).

Sharing with third parties

We don’t sell your data. We use essential services only (e.g., Supabase, email provider) to operate the app. These providers receive only what’s necessary to perform their function.

Retention & deletion

We keep data while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time; we’ll remove your account data and associated uploads, except where we must keep minimal records for security or legal reasons.

Security

We use authentication, RLS policies, and signed URLs for screenshots. No system is perfect, but we work to protect your data end-to-end.

Cookies

Auth sessions use cookies/local storage so you can stay logged in. We don’t run ad trackers. If we add simple analytics later, we’ll update this page.

Children

Fantasy Arbitrator is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. If you believe we may have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes

We may update this policy. If changes are significant, we’ll update the date above and may notify you in-app.
